Lift pendant, small model

A reflection of Hermès’ keen interest in traditional know-how, this piece was made in Vietnam by a small group of artisans passionate about keeping the art of buffalo horn and lacquer work alive.
Each piece of horn is carefully selected, cut, heated to create a curve, fashioned and buffed. Depending on the model, horn is beautifully paired with hand-crafted lacquered wood. Finally, the jewellery is coated with twelve layers of lacquer, a particularly delicate operation.

Horn is a noble and ‘living’ material whose appearance may vary depending on weather conditions (humidity, heat).
We recommend that you protect your jewellery from impact and avoid contact with water and abrasive products.
